I think i was one of the first people in my social network to pick up XP and use it to its full potential. Most people hated the look and feel of it. That’s right kids, people didn’t like XP at first. Too resource heavy, everything in the wrong place and networking was too easy. Oh the good old days. But after Vista came out people really understood what needlessly resource heavy and everything in the wrong place meant. So much so that a lot of people (myself included) stayed with Xp, feeling no need to upgrade to vista.

well now that windows 7 has done what vista tried to do, people are more willing to upgrade. this leads me to the problem i find myself in now. XP is fine in every single way. it does the job i want it to, it does it effectively and hassle free. But it doesn’t run DX10. “Pfff who cares” I hear you say. “The only game that requires you to have DX10 is Halo 2 and who plays that on the PC?”. Normally i would agree with you. But now a game worth playing has arrived on the scene that REQUIRES DX10. Shattered Horizon is a game that not only looks sweet, but is having a free weekend on steam. OH SWEET IRONY.

This game looks like it is really pushing boundaries and escaping from the cookie cutter clone games that seem to appear every year. But alas, I shall not be able to play this spectacle.  Looks like XP finally has seen its sun set. its windows 7 from here on out.

In response to me recording an episode of Kritzkast on Valentine’s day, A lot of people have asked me about why I’m not spending the day with my wife. Some people already know the answer to this question, but some people still don’t. Mainly because i haven’t shouted it from the roof tops. Like I’m about to now.

Around 2 months ago, me and my wife of around 6 months decided that we were going our separate ways. We had been together for 7 years before we got married, so its not like we rushed into things. I won’t go into details, but I will say that it has been possibly one of the most stress free break ups in history. We are both on good terms, we are both in good places now, How ever we are not together.

Don’t worry, We are both good. We’ve been through the grieving process and have returned to our normal selves. I have returned back to the UK and have been here since December. Although this does mean that I am now back on the market. So if any women would like to take me off the market, you know where to find me

After watching Avatar, I’ve been wanting to photoshop somebody to look like the native Na’vi creatures from the film. It looked like an interesting photoshop to do. Mainly because at first it looks like just turning them blue. But the more you look at it, they have great features in the way of the eyes, nose and flesh tones, that would be great fun to photoshop.

After a long time at looking at pictures of myself, i decided doing a photoshop with a beard was not a good idea. So I found a female friend with an awesome picture, asked if she wanted to me made into a space smurf. Bouncing up and down, she said yes. Here is the resulting Images
