E4 Sting
If you live in the UK then you have more than likely been exposed to E4. For those of you outside of the UK or with out the power to pick up the remote, E4 is a Digital channel showing programs aimed at the 20 something market. As with most channels in between shows they have channel idents as well as the usual flurry of adverts. But what makes their “Stings” different is that about 70% of them are created by fan instead of a major company.
As such I took it upon myself to create an “Esting” as they are called and submit it to E4. Although I have not seen it myself, I have been informed by a many people that it has been broadcast on the channel several times and continues to be done so.
Below is a few screen captures from the Sting and the download of the file. Due to legal reasons, the music used in the sting is not free for distribution, so the file you download will have no sound, but the version aired on the channel does have E4 created and branded music.
